Frequently Asked Questions

Where does our Mezcal come from?

Our mezcal comes from Puebla and Guerrero, states with talented mezcal masters who have celebrated the traditions of mezcal creation for centuries.

Is Puebla Mezcal Volcanic?

Yes, mezcal from southern Puebla is considered volcanic because our agaves grow in soil fertilized by ash from the volcano Popocatepetl.

How many varieties of agave do you have?

Our producers work with up to 12 different types of agave, the most popular being tobalá, espadín, blue agave, tepeztate, arroqueño, and cupreata.

Is the mezcal organic?

It's even better than organic! Our mezcal is made using wild agave.

Are the production and distillation techniques sustainable?

Yes, we only use certified sustainable wood in the cooking process. In addition, we are committed to protecting our fields through regenerative farming techniques, in order to safeguard the birthplace of our wild agaves.

Is your mezcal mass produced?

No, we produce our mezcal in small batches to meet our quality and sustainability goals.
